About
Third-person bio:
Benjamin Chodoroff lives in Detroit. His interests include bicycles, bits, and Bea Arthur (his dog). From 2004-2009 he spent almost all of his free time building up a bicycle education non-profit called The Hub of Detroit, née Back Alley Bikes.
Technologically, he cut his teeth building absurd computers and exploitring the internet in high school. During this time, he had a fantastic consequential meeting with total strangers and helped found the Michigan Independent Media Center. He has since then continued working to leverage technology to destroy institutions he doesn’t like, and help institutions that he does like.
Cyclically, he loves riding two-wheeled human-powered vehicles, specifically the safety bicycle. In his younger days, he would mostly ride on dirt, but now he mostly just rides on streets with a little dirt on them. He was a bicycle courier for some years in Detroit, and released a flock of rock doves.
